An easy way to check train tickets online
Jakarta (MidLand) – Traveling by train is a favorite among Indonesians because the ticket prices are affordable, they are punctual, not affected by traffic and can carry a large family.
In addition to this, train passengers are also facilitated by the services available on the train and can enjoy beautiful views during the journey.
However, prospective passengers need to check the status of train tickets to ensure seat availability and payment status. If you order tickets offline, of course the train ticket will be received physically (boarding pass). So what happens if you order online?
To check or know the status of your train ticket, you will no longer have to queue at the ticket counter, but you can connect online via the official application.
Indonesian Railways (KAI) has three official services to check or order tickets. Through the website or the Access by KAI application. Here is how to check train tickets online as per the official KAI website:

- Visit the official KAI website at
- Find the “order tickets” menu ===> “verify booking code”
- Enter the booking code or payment code you ordered in the appropriate column
- Please also enter your NIK (population identification number) in the column provided
- Then press or click “show”, the orders that have been paid or booked will appear and be displayed.
How to check train tickets via the official Access by KAI application
- Download or install the Access by KAI app on the Play Store for Android users and the App Store for iOS users
- Open the Access by KAI application and register an account to access the application
- After registering your account and logging in, select the “My Tickets” menu located at the bottom of the application menu.
- Go to the “My Tickets” menu, then “Review and Add Tickets”
- Enter the order code in the appropriate column to view the order ticket
- After entering the order code, press “Continue”, then the ticket order information will appear and be displayed.
