Aldila is ready to challenge the Japanese in the women’s doubles in the first round of the Miami Open

Jakarta (MidLand) – Indonesian tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi and her Japanese partner Miyu Kato are ready to challenge Japanese women’s doubles pair Makoto Ninomiya/Eri Hozumi in the first round of the Miami Open 2024 tournament in Florida, United States, Friday WIB.

“We are ready to face this match. “We have trained hard and know what we have to do,” Aldila said in an official statement received in Jakarta.

This is the WTA 1000 tournament that Aldila/Kato played after the Indian Wells 2024 tournament in California, United States some time ago.

They admitted that they had made extensive preparations to face the Ninomiya/Hozumi duo, who were known to be tough.

“Ninomiya and Hozumi are a tough duo, but we are sure we can play better,” Aldila said.

Aldila is optimistic about this match after showing good performances in recent tournaments, also winning the 2024 Thailand Open with Kato.

In the last tournament they participated in, Indian Wells 2024, the pair reached the round of 16.

Aldila has a busy schedule of matches this year, starting with the Australian Open Grand Slam tournament, winning the Thailand Open and competing in various Middle East tournaments, including WTA 1000 Dubai, WTA 500 Abu Dhabi, WTA 1000 Doha and finally the Indian Wells WTA 1000.

Aldila hopes that the Indonesian people will continue to support him so that he can win many titles and make Indonesia proud on the international tennis scene.
