TIME.CO, Jakarta – Alliance of Student Executive Bodies in Indonesian Universities (GOOD, if-UI) has again sent invitations to three potential Indonesian presidential candidates (bacapres). This call has been postponed following the postponement of the activity entitled ‘Adu Ideas Bacapres at UI’ originally scheduled for September 14, 2023.
The UI BEM Alliance proposed September 26, 2023 as the calendar for the ideas competition. The intended concept is that the three presidential candidates will stand on one stage to compete with each other.
“Moreover face to face and can be more comparable,” Taffi Hensan Kurniawan, coordinator for social and political affairs at BEM UI, said Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
However, according to Taffi, the UI BEM is also available to discuss with the three presidential candidates regarding the future concept.
BEM across UI took advantage of Ganjar Pranowo’s presence at the nationality lecture held at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UI on Monday, September 18, 2023 to directly distribute physical invitations. The invitation had arrived in Ganjar’s hands.
“I gave the invitation directly to Mr. Ganjar. So far the response has been positive, Mr. Ganjar said he would check the program and contact the (contact) number in the letter provided,” Taffi said.

Meanwhile, the invitation to Prabowo Subianto was delivered directly to his home, in the Kertanegara area. Invitations for Anies Baswedan were also sent directly to the winner’s home in Kuningan.
“So far yesterday the only confirmation has been Mr. Anies,” Taffi said.
Through this invitation, the UI BEM Alliance invited the three presidential candidates to participate and sit down to discuss their ideas together.
