“The management and staff of the Aceh Regional Traffic Police continue to intensify the prevention of illegal racing. This prevention of illegal racing is a form of traffic police presence in the community,” he said.
The middle-ranking Aceh police officer said the perpetrators of the illegal races were predominantly teenagers who were still minors.
Several locations where illegal racing is prevented include those under the jurisdiction of the Aceh Besar Police.
So, anticipate illegal racing in the jurisdiction of West Aceh Police, Pidie Police, Central Aceh Police, Subulussalam Police, Lhokseumawe Police and Banda Aceh Police.
“In a preventive operation, traffic unit personnel dispersed illegal racing on the highway. Officers also seized motorbikes involved in illegal racing,” he said.
In addition to prevention, the traffic director of the Aceh Regional Police said, his party is also taking strong action against perpetrators of illegal racing. This firm action aims to save the lives of illegal racing perpetrators, most of whom are still minors.
