TIME.CO, Jakarta – While the excitement for the latest foldable phones XiaomiMix Fold 3, still going strong, news about the company’s next flagship phone, Xiaomi 14started appearing.

The SoC is expected to be manufactured by TSMC and will have a 1+5+2 core architecture, with one large core, five medium cores and two small cores. It will be an upgrade over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has a 1+4+3 core architecture.

The extra large core and small core will make Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 the most powerful Snapdragon 5G mobile platform to date. Apart from that, the device is said to have a bigger battery and fast charging of 4860mAh and 120W respectively.
The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to have the same price as the Xiaomi 13 series. This means that the Xiaomi 14 can start at around 3999 yuan (about $625) for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
