TIME.CO, Jakarta – Province Central Java has a number of reputable state (PTN) and private (PTS) universities with various choices of majors or programs of study (prodi). In addition to offering leading universities, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) through the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) of September 2019 reported that Central Java is one of the provinces with the lowest cost of living. Webometrics 2023 list of best campuses in Central Java
Analytics site Webometrics regularly publishes a ranking of the best universities in the world (real time). A total of more than 31,000 campuses, both public and private, were also listed. In Indonesia, there are 3,381 campuses assessed on the basis of certain indicators.
To determine the best campus, Webometrics applies three indicators, namely 50%. impact on visibility, 10 percent transparency/openness and 40 percent excellence/scholar. The Webometrics version of Top 20 Campuses in Central Java for July 2023 accessed on August 2, 2023 is as follows.
