The key to Agriculture Minister Amran’s success, Honor parents and Reduce Ngaret’s hobbies
Jakarta (MidLand) – Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman gave advice to younger generations to achieve success. Two of these attitudes are honoring your parents and getting used to living a disciplined life without waiting or wasting time when you are promised.
According to Amran, glorifying parents is a truly human attitude in repaying their millions of kindness for the life they are currently living. Meanwhile, discipline is a reflection of a person’s character in achieving success.
“In my opinion, there are two keys to success. First, honor your parents, and second, not be busy, that is, be disciplined, as a hobby. I think this is something that needs to be maintained, especially by the younger generation ,” Agriculture Minister Amran said when he was a guest star at the podcasts RI Cabinet Secretary, Saturday.
Amran said his struggle before becoming a successful entrepreneur started with a very painful life. When he was young, Amran admitted to visiting Jakarta and sleeping in the Istiqlal mosque. Amran also goes back and forth during the night from one house to another to experience the hardships of life. One memorable thing is that Amran often slept on a moldy mattress.
“There was an old man who gave up his bed, which was a moldy mattress. So I often slept there. When I went to Jakarta, the only choice of place to stay was from one mosque to another,” he said.
Armed with this experience, Amran taught that life is not simply about living, but must have meaning and cherish experiences in the struggle to change circumstances. He gave an example: real life has to exert pressure to make human beings much stronger.
“Pressure pressure Hard work will make you stronger. Thank God, I was in a mosque and now I am building a big mosque. “Well, younger generations have to be like this for their brains to be intelligent,” she said.
After building the mosque, Amran continued to contribute to society. Currently, this successful entrepreneur with a turnover of trillions of dollars is building an international hospital in South Sulawesi.
“After the mosque is finished, we want to build an international hospital so that our sick brothers and sisters can get treatment at home. Why? Because going abroad for treatment costs 1.5 million a year, which is about 1, 6 trillion a year. So I tried to build a magnificent hospital, and this is one type of building Community “Our new dream is to produce a young generation with strong morals and character,” he explained.
