NASA Launches NASA+ Streaming Service, Free! : Okezone techno
PLATFORM streaming continues to emerge offering video on demand or popularly known as VoD or even live. Usually these streaming services will be commercialized, bearing in mind that the produced contents also have to pay royalties.
However, the United States Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has announced that it will roll out a new streaming service called NASA+ later this year. This streaming platform will also be ad-free and free and accessible to anyone.
The NASA+ streaming service will also broadcast live coverage of the upcoming rocket launch and documentaries. Additionally, the NASA+ service will feature new original series that will be available exclusively on the platform.
“We’re bringing space on demand and within reach with NASA’s new streaming platform,” NASA communications manager Marc Etkind said, quoted by Tech Crunch’s Antara.
NASA+ will be available through the NASA app on iOS and Android on smartphone and tablet devices. The service will also be featured on streaming media such as Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV.
In addition, NASA+ can also be accessed via the new beta site launched by NASA. The new site will contain information on NASA missions and research, climate data, updates on the Artemis program and more.
