Losing to AHY, this is FISIP UI Moeldoko’s Education and Career Pupil Footprint
TIME.CO, Jakarta – The Supreme Court (MA) finally rejected the Judicial Review (PK) presented by the Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moldoko on the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Law and Human Rights concerning the management of the Democratic Party of Thursday 10 August 2023.
This chaotic situation began in early February 2021 when President General Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) announced that there had been attempts outside the party of a coup against the Democrats during his leadership era.

AHY and Moeldoko took this dispute to court. Moeldoko’s defeat is not the first time. Several lawsuits were filed in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Central District Court of Jakarta and the Administrative Court, but still lost. So, what is Moeldoko’s career and education track record?
Moeldoko career record
According to the University of Indonesia (UI) Faculty of Administrative Sciences (FIA) website, Moeldoko received his military education at the Indonesian Armed Forces Academy or Akabri (now renamed Military Academy or Akmil) in Magelang in 1981. The man who was born in Kediri, July 8, 1957 became the best graduate and won the Bintang Adhi Makayasa award.
Later, Moeldoko was assigned as a platoon leader in the Regional Military Command of Airborne (Yonif Linud) Infantry Battalion 700 or Kodam VII/Wirabuana. He was given assignments in Operation Seroja East Timor 1984 and other assignments, such as Iraq-Kuwait, United States and Canada.
As for the different positions he has held, including Company A Infantry Battalion Commander Yonif 700/BS, Operations Section Chief Yonif Infantry Battalion 700/BS, Operations Officer Kodim 1408/BS Makassar, Deputy Yonif 202/Tajimalela, Chief of Territory Section of Brigif-1 PAM IK/ JS, Danyonif 101/Jaya Yudha, Dandim 0501 BS/Central Jakarta and Sepri Deputy KSAD.
Apart from this, there are other positions as well, such as Pabadya-3 Ops PB-IV/Sopsad, Brigif-1 for Capital City Security, Asops Kasdam VI/TPR, Dirbindiklat Pussenif, Danrindam VI/TPR, Danrem 141/TP Dam VII / WRB, and Pa KSAD Expert in Economics.
His career continues to skyrocket
In 2008, he was given the post of director of the Kodiklat Regional Military Command Kodiklat TNI AD Jayakarta (Kodam Jaya for short). In 2010-2011, he was promoted three times and alternated between positions, starting with Division Commander 1/Kostrad, Pangdam XII/Tanjungpura, Commander III/Siliwangi and Deputy Governor of the National Defense Institute (Lemhanas).

Two years later, Moeldoko took over as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (TNI AD). He subsequently assumed the post of Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (KSAD) on 22 May 2013.
After serving only three months, President SBY appointed Moeldoko as TNI Commander on Friday, August 30, 2013. SBY was sworn in as the Top Military Academy Graduate of 1981 to replace Admiral Agus Suhartono who was entering his term business suit.
In 2014, the son of the couple Moestaman and Masfuah completed his postgraduate education and received a doctorate in the Administrative Science program at UI. Not only that, Moeldoko was also awarded an honorary or honorary Doctorate of Human Resource Development Strategy Management from Semarang State University (Unnes) on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
Moeldoko was chosen by President Joko Widodo to become the presidential chief of staff to replace Teten Masduki on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He has held the same position until now.
