Ganjar calls on people to respect Pancasila

Jakarta (MidLand) – Presidential candidate No. 3 Ganjar Pranowo has called on the public to appreciate and practice the values contained in the Pancasila.

“We, as children of the nation, are obliged to respect Pancasila, so that the thoughts written by Bung Karno in his reflections can truly be applied. How can we do this? No corruption, no collusion and no nepotism,” Ganjar said during the Exile visit House of Bung Karno in Ende Regency, Nusa East Southeast (NTT), Saturday.

Lest we forget, Ganjar visited a park where there was a breadfruit tree which was said to be the place where Bung Karno meditated. One of the results of Bung Karno’s reflections, Ganjar continued, were the five precepts of Pancasila.

“With all his creativity, Bung Karno continued to work while in exile. There are the tonsils that he created, the paintings, the education and the extraordinary inspiration up to the contemplation under the breadfruit that produces the five principles of Pancasila. “Ende is very historic,” he said.

While there, Ganjar admitted that he realized that the birth of Pancasila was not an easy process. According to Ganjar, this process can be achieved with great enthusiasm and nationalism through the struggle of the founders of the nation.

For this reason, Ganjar reminded the public to respect heroes, such as the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno.

“Because this is where our heroes gave up all their wealth, lives, energies, thoughts, everything for the well-being of their nation. We must respect them,” the former governor of Central Java said.

On the other hand, Ganjar explained that Bung Karno’s Exile House when he was a political prisoner in 1934-1938 was like a list of must-see places when visiting Ende, NTT.

“Whenever we go to Ende, we definitely go to Bung Karno’s house of exile. It’s inside here it is“For about 4 years Bung Karno was here,” he said.
