pt Esport Star Indonesia (ESI) will bring the nation’s kids-made Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game, Fight of Legends, to 100 schools in the Greater Jakarta area this year in the context of an event titled Fight of Legend Goes to School .
Nielson Tanaya, Competition Section Head of PT ESI, told MNC Portal Indonesia that this activity was done to introduce the Fight of Legends game to the users, who are mostly high school students.
“This year we aim to have 100 schools in the Fight of Legends Goes to School event. We have currently visited 15 schools,” said Nielson Tanaya.
One of the schools visited by Fight of Legends Goes to School this time is SMK PGRI 2, Depok, West Java. In the school, PT ESI invited PGRI 2 Professional High School students to hold a Fight of Legends competition.
Nielson Tanaya said that in addition to introducing the Fight of Legends game, PT ESI is also trying to change the perspective of online games which are often viewed negatively by the public.
According to him, currently there are still many people who think that online games are just a waste of time and yield no results. Nielson Tanaya actually said that Fight of Legends is very different from online games that exist today. “At Fight of Legends we provide rewards and money. In this school we invite them to compete up to level 2,” he explained.
