Department of Education and Culture Dismisses Objection to Removal of Professor Title, Former UNS MWA Officials Continue to Sue in State Administrative Court
TIME.CO, Solo – Former Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sebelas Maret o OF THE UNS Hasan Fauzi said the cause for his removal from office was Professor The UNS filing in the State Administrative Court or PTUN is still pending. Hasan officially filed the lawsuit after the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) rejected the objection to the fines imposed on him.
“The Ministry (Kemendikbudristek) rejected the opposition (to the dismissal of Hasan Fauzi from the chair) and immediately filed a lawsuit against Administrative court. Currently the case is still pending in the Administrative Court,” Hasan said Time Saturday 26 August 2023.
While awaiting the trial of his case in the Administrative Court, Hasan admitted that he is still doing various academic activities till now. “Fixed attendance. I still do academic work, including reading scientific journals and writing for international journals,” he said.
Aside from that, Hasan admits that he continues to provide guidance and tests to postgraduate or PhD students. “I’m still guiding doctoral students and tests, including foreign students,” she said.
When asked about the alleged case report fraud or corruption occurred at the UN to the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption (KPK), Hasan said that currently the process is still ongoing. Similarly, the case report was also sent to the High Court (Kejati).

Hasan did not explain the matter further. “(How is the progress of the UN alleged fraud complaint to the KPK?) It’s going well. Hopefully, soon there will be suspects from both the Attorney General’s Office and the KPK,” he said.
Two former officials of the Board of Trustees (MWA), who are also professors of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Solo, had previously raised objections to the disciplinary sanctions imposed on them by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Nadiem Makarim. These are Hasan Fauzi who was Deputy Chief of UNS MWA and Tri Atmojo Kusmayadi who was Secretary of UNS MWA.
The opposition was filed because both believed that they had never abused their authority as required by the Decree of the Minister of Public Education. In the decree of the Minister of Education and Culture on the imposition of disciplinary sanctions, Hasan and Tri are named for violating the government regulation number 94 of 2021, one of which is the article on abuse of authority.
