Meanwhile, for teenagers aged 15 to eight it is limited to one hour a day. Meanwhile, children under eight will be given 40 minutes.
The plan calls for the Chinese government to also ban the use of cell phones between 10pm and 6am. Their phones must also have an accessible mode for parents to limit what their children see.
Hence, CAC also requires Internet Service Providers to display age-appropriate content for mobile users.
Also, for the little ones, the rule is limited to songs and other audio formats, while children aged 12 and over can only view educational materials and news. However, the rule has exceptions for educational content or other emergency services.
